Alma, Kansas is smack dab in the middle of the Flint Hills. It's population is less than a thousand, but the people who live in the small town are some of the most friendly and kindest of people you could meet anywhere. My husband and I had gone up to Alma to photograph a gravel race, and after we ate supper that first night, we took a little walk about and discovered it was a beautiful little town.
