Hot Springs, Arkansas (population 37, 994) may not fit the criteria of a "Small Town", but it definitely has the feel of a small town. It is a national park, famous for its healing hot springs and racetrack and is a second home to my family ever since my in-laws moved to the town in the late 1990's. We love coming here to play on Lake Hamilton, ride, run and hike the mountain bike trails, eat at McClards BBQ, go to the race track, have long visits with my father-in-law and plain old relax and forget about day-to-day living. My stomach always hurts a little whenever we have to leave to go back home, now just a mere three hours north.
