This collection is actually a combination of three small Arkansas towns about an hour's drive from Hot Springs: Malvern, Sheridan and Searcy (pronounced "Sir-cy"). The last few frames of the train depot was where my father-in-law was born and lived for the first five years of his life. Unfortunately, the depot-turned-museum was closed for the day so my husband and I were unable to look inside but we made the most of peering through the windows. We'll just have to go back when the museum is open. These three town may be just blips on the map, but they were incredibly colorful and friendly (and the Yellowjacket in Sheridan had some of the best cheeseburgers and ice cream around!).
